NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 31 – Oracle is set to open a public cloud region in Nairobi.
The announcement was made following a meeting between President William Ruto and Oracle Vice President Scott Twaddle.
Twaddle stated that the planned public cloud region in Nairobi underscored Oracle’s commitment to Africa.
He further stated that it is aimed at driving the digital transformation of government, public institutions, businesses and start ups in Kenya.
