NAIROBI, Kenya, July 22 — Kenyan automotive content creator George King’ara will represent the country at the Shell V-Power Games in Budapest, Hungary, joining more than 60 creators from around the world in a series of driving, physical and team-based challenges.

The event brings together digital creators from different countries, including South Africa’s media personality Nomzamo Mbatha and Moroccan television presenter Hicham Masrar, ahead of the Formula One Hungarian Grand Prix.

King’ara said the opportunity reflects the growing recognition of Kenya’s automotive content creation industry on the global stage.

“I am incredibly honoured to represent Kenya at the Shell V-Power Games in Budapest. What started as a passion for creating automotive content has opened doors to an amazing global opportunity. I’m excited to fly the Kenyan flag high, connect with creators from around the world and watch my heroes battle it out at the F1 Hungary GP,” he said.

Vivo Energy Kenya Managing Director Peter Murungi said the initiative highlights the growing influence of Kenyan digital creators while showcasing Shell V-Power’s partnership with Formula One team Scuderia Ferrari.

King’ara has built a strong online following through vehicle reviews, driving experiences and automotive industry content, becoming one of Kenya’s best-known motoring content creators.

The Shell V-Power Games are designed to showcase driving performance and bring together creators from different markets through a mix of competitive challenges and motorsport-related activities.
