NAIROBI, Kenya, Apr 2 — The ruling United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has unveiled a schedule for phased grassroots elections to pick party officials.

The UDA National Steering Committee meeting chaired by President William Ruto, the Party Leader, approved electronic elections in various counties between April 26 and August 24.

UDA Chairperson Cecile Mbarire said the polls will give way for county and national polls slated for December 2024.

The party further appointed Kenya Revenue Authority Board Chairperson Anthony Mwaura to chair the UDA National Elections Board, a position he held before UDA’s victory in the 2022 presidential election.
