NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 18 – A man who has been defrauding Kenyans while posing as an officer in the Department of Defence, will on Thursday be charged in court.
The man had been presenting himself as a Colonel and had been selling fake DoD tenders to unsuspecting Kenyans.
“Detectives yesterday arrested Mr Erick Otieno Atanga who has been presenting himself as Colonel Kiprotich of DoD (Department of Defence) defrauding people by selling them fake DoD tenders,” the DCI stated through its Twitter account.
He is expected to be charged with obtaining money under false pretences.
