NAIROBI, Kenya Jun 28 – Lamu West Member of Parliament Stanley Muiruri Muthama has been arrested for allegedly engaging in fraud.
According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), Muthama was picked up by detectives on Thursday night at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).
“He will be charged in an Eldoret court with a tax-related offence,” the DCI tweeted on Friday, but did not elaborate.
