Kenyan singer, songwriter, producer and artist Karun Mungai launched her much anticipated solo EP Indigo on Wednesday.
Formerly of Kenyan group Camp Mulla, Karun is now a member of the music collective Cosmic Homies. Known as Runka, Karun is currently in the US on tour with Marushka, Kiwango and Taio (also formerly of Camp Mulla).
‘I’ve always loved experimenting with genres and pushing East African listeners a out of their comfort zones,” says Karun aka Runka. “The EP has a variety of sensual sounds merged with dance provoking beats.’
