Dentsu celebrates the graduation of the second cohort of the School of Influence (DSOI)

Dentsu Kenya has successfully graduated the second cohort of its School of Influence (DSOI), reaffirming its commitment to empowering Kenya’s next generation of digital creators with the skills, knowledge and industry connections needed to thrive in the creator economy.

Following the successful launch of the Dentsu School of Influence in 2025, the programme has continued to equip aspiring content creators with practical skills to navigate the rapidly evolving influencer marketing landscape. Building on the success of the inaugural cohort, the second cohort graduated on 24th July 2026, marking another significant milestone in Dentsu’s mission to professionalise and strengthen Kenya’s creator economy.

The rise of platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and other digital channels continues to transform the marketing landscape, creating unprecedented opportunities for creators to build communities, influence purchasing decisions and generate sustainable income. As the creator economy continues to evolve, professional development and business acumen have become just as important as creativity.

Recognising this need, the Dentsu School of Influence was established to bridge the gap between creative talent and commercial success by providing structured training that extends beyond content creation.

Throughout the programme, participants received intensive training from industry experts covering content strategy, personal branding, influencer marketing, legal and contractual obligations, financial management, storytelling, photography, videography and audience engagement. The curriculum also exposed creators to leading brands, experienced content creators, legal experts, financial advisors and media professionals, providing practical insights into building sustainable careers.

Since its inception, the Dentsu School of Influence has continued to demonstrate the growing demand for structured learning within the creator economy. The success of both the inaugural and second cohorts reinforces the importance of investing in local talent and creating opportunities for creators to transform their passion into sustainable careers.

The graduates of the second cohort now join an expanding network of trained creators who are better positioned to collaborate with brands, agencies and industry partners while contributing to the continued growth of Kenya’s digital economy.

Creators successfully graduated from the second cohort, each completing the intensive programme designed to prepare them for the business of influencer marketing. Outstanding participants will continue engaging with dentsu and its partners through future opportunities, mentorship and commercial collaborations.

Looking ahead, Dentsu remains committed to expanding the School of Influence and nurturing future cohorts of creators, further strengthening the creator ecosystem across Kenya and beyond.
