Researchers have made a cheesecake out of gorilla faeces.
Scientists at a Japanese university have created the unique dish, using a bacteria found in the excrement of the primate, the Daily Star newspaper reports.
The bacteria – which was originally discovered in Africa – was bred and turned into a yoghurt, before being used to make the tasty treat.
Daring students who tried the dessert say it has a different taste to traditional cheesecakes.
