NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 23 – Vivo Energy Kenya praised China’s significant contributions to Kenya’s development during a vibrant Lunar New Year celebration in Nairobi. The event brought together hundreds of Chinese investors for a culinary experience to welcome the Year of the Snake.
Managing Director Peter Murungi highlighted the transformative impact of Kenya-China partnerships, particularly in infrastructure, citing state-of-the-art roads, railways, and bridges as milestones reshaping Kenya’s connectivity and growth.

The Chinese New Year celebrations, starting January 29, 2025, will last 16 days, culminating in the Lantern Festival on February 12. Transitioning from the Year of the Dragon to the Year of the Snake, 2025 symbolizes wisdom, transformation, and opportunities for personal growth.
