KISII, Kenya, Feb 3 – Itumbe D.O.K primary school was closed Friday morning by officers from Teachers service Commission the ministry of Education following a video which was captured subjecting children to an Indecent act by their teachers.
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) officer from Nyamache Subcounty said the commission has already posted six new teachers who will report to this school on Monday next week.
“The six teachers will join two teachers who remained in this school starting Monday when learning will resume officially” the TSC officer stated.
This follows the interdiction and arrest of seven teachers who were caught on camera subjecting student to from the school who were arrested and taken to court for taking a video after subjecting them to immorality.
Phones of the suspects were consviscated and taken to Kisumu for a cyber crime analysis by Criminal Investigation officers.
Ogembo court Magistrate Paul Bewott today ordered the suspects to be locked at Nyangusu police station till Monday when they will be charged for the offence they committed.
