NAIROBI, Kenya, June 17, 2026 – FKF Premier League side Nairobi United have announced the arrival of immediate former Shabana FC boss Osbourne Monday as part of a revamped technical bench.

In a statement, the Johnson Sakaja-owned side announced that Monday’s arrival is the start of incoming changes to their technical bench.

“He joins a technical bench that is undergoing strategic changes as we prepare for the upcoming season. We remain active in the transfer market, with further additions expected as we continue to reinforce both the technical department and playing squad,” the club announced.

Naibois described Monday’s acquisition as a steal, noting that the former Harambee Stars midfielder will improve their fortunes by virtue of his incredible knowledge of the game.

“Renowned for his tactical intelligence and deep understanding of the game, Osborne brings a wealth of experience to the club. The former Murang’a Seal FC and Shabana FC Head Coach earned widespread recognition for implementing an attractive brand of football and developing competitive teams,” the statement read.

Monday’s departure from Tore Bobe comes as a surprise considering he had only joined the Kisii-based giants on April 17 from Murang’a Seal, where he had similarly enjoyed a considerable level of success.

The former Sofapaka and Tusker FC midfielder steered the Glamour Boys to an impressive fifth-place finish with 52 points.

His arrival at Naibois comes amidst heightened expectations that former AFC Leopards head coach Patrick Aussem is set to take the reins at the club.
