According to a Thomson Reuters report, researchers predicts that by 2019 Muslims will be spending $484 billion on clothing and footwear.

In Kenya, this growing market is no different.

Fashion label, Wambui Mukenyi has debuted a few Muslim wear pieces to capture the grace and beauty of Muslim women.

The Kenyan designer has stepped out of her usual bridal and casual wear to reinvent the hijab by blending in different luxurious fabrics to create simple yet elegant looks; embellishing lace and detachable peplum.

Wambui Mukenyi joins a growing list of labels courting the increasingly lucrative Muslim market in Kenya and Eastern Africa region.
