NAIROBI, Kenya, April 24 – Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are being encouraged to tap into business clubs as a strategic tool for scaling and long-term growth.
Experts in the banking sector note that while disruptions in business are inevitable, SMEs can better withstand challenges by building strong networks and structures.
Erastus Muthura, Head of SME Banking at Absa Kenya, said business clubs offer more than just networking opportunities.
“They open doors to tailored solutions for SMEs, including local and international market linkages as well as advisory services,” he said.
With many SMEs still struggling with access to markets and mentorship, business clubs are emerging as a crucial platform for resilience and competitiveness.
