NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 23 – Deputy President William Ruto has joined forces with Musalia Mudavadi’s Amani Nati0nal Congress (ANC), Ford Kenya, and is now welcoming more like-minded parties.
Ruto who graced Mudavadi’s convention at the Bomas of Kenya on Sunday said they will hold joint campaign rallies across the country, starting with Nakuru this weekend.
In the new coalition pact, Ruto and Mudavadi vowed to popularise their unity as they seek to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta in the August election, in what has now jolted Opposition chief Raila Odinga who was banking on Mudavadi.
