NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 9 – Kenya Pipeline Company has awarded Vivo Energy Kenya, Shell licensee in the country, with top industry awards in recognition of exceptional performance during this year’s Customer Service Week celebrations.
Vivo Energy Kenya received two prestigious accolades for the financial year 2024/25 – the Highest Global Throughput Performer Award and the Highest Throughput Achievement Award for its Nairobi terminal.
The awards were presented by Kenya Pipeline Company Managing Director Joe Sang to his counterpart at Vivo Energy Kenya, Peter Murungi, during a ceremony marking Customer Service Week.
The recognition highlights Vivo Energy Kenya’s operational excellence and efficiency in petroleum distribution across the country. The awards come as the energy sector continues to play a critical role in supporting Kenya’s economic growth and development.
During the celebrations, hundreds of motorists were awarded a discount on Shell V-Power, which is the company’s premium unleaded fuel.
Shell is the market leader in Kenya with over 330 service stations.
