NAIROBI, Kenya, July 4 – Anne Rwamba Gitau’s stint as CEO and Chairman of the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) has ended, it was announced yesterday.
SRC said that Gitau’s tenure lapsed effective June 30, 2025.
She handed over the role to Margaret Njoka, who is currently serving as Director, Corporate Services. Njoka will handle the position until a substantive holder of the office is selected.
“Dr. Gitau’s 13-year stint at SRC spans all three SRC Commissions since inception. The Commission expresses its deep appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Gitau for her commitment and dedicated service to SRC and to the people of Kenya, and wishes her the very best in her future endeavours.”
