Zuchu Refuses To Cancel Upcoming Show In Nigeria Despite Knee Injury

Bongo songstress Zuchu will not let her ‘small’ accident get her down.

The ‘Mtasubiri’ hitmaker took to her socials to announce that she had suffered an injury to her knee in a ‘small’ accident. In the video, what appears to be her right leg with an injury to the knee, was being stitched.


“I got involved in a small accident and injured my knee a day before heading to Nigeria to perform at a very important concert,” she explained.

She went on to reveal that although she has contemplated canceling her upcoming show in Nigeria, she will show up and make do despite her injury.

“Canceling a show is one of the hardest decisions I can make as an artist and I have known that today. I’ll go as I am.”

Zuchu whose real name is Zuhura Othman Soud, also added that her manager Dorice Mziray keeps on insisting that she should cancel the upcoming show and prioritizes her health, but the singer is adamant and is still deliberating on whether to perform or not.

The fast-rising WCB signee known for hits like ‘Sukari’, ‘Mwambieni’, and ‘Nyumba Ndogo’ recently became the first female artist in East Africa to be awarded the Golden Plaque by the YouTube Community after her channel surpassed 1 million subscribers.
