South African-based Ugandan socialite and entrepreneur Zari Hassan has made a heartfelt return to her home country, seeking to mend fences with her husband, Shakib Cham.
In a candid recent interview, Zari expressed sincere regret for the actions that led to the rift in their relationship, publicly apologizing to Shakib for her previous outburst.

Zari who is known for her glamorous lifestyle and high-profile relationships, admitted that her earlier comments about Shakib were made in a moment of frustration. She acknowledged that airing her grievances on social media was a mistake.
“Things happen. We are not perfect as people. After realizing our mistakes, we turn back. I indeed wronged Shakib. This was because of the frustration I was going through, though the platform I used to vent my issues was wrong,” Zari confessed.
The couple’s relationship, which has been under the public eye since they first got together, took a hit last month when Zari went live on social media and criticized Shakib, accusing him of being a “deadbeat” husband.
Her remarks quickly made headlines, with many speculating about the state of their marriage.
