She has clearly won the heart of many a Kenyan and could easily be called Kenyans’ favorite Tanzanian gospel artiste, and she has something up her sleeves that has sent the internet in a frenzy.
Tanzanian gospel songbird Christina Shusho has teased a new release dubbed ‘Zakayo,’ and Kenyans are having a field day reacting to the title. A term sarcastically used to poke fun at the Kenyan president (owing to controversial tax stipulations), social media users were not hesitant to give their two cents as soon as Shusho shared the teaser.

Late last year, Shusho became an overnight Kenyan fans’ favorite after her hit song ‘Shusha Nyavu’ took over the internet by storm. An online campaign to have her perform in the country would ensue, that culminated in the singer jetting into the country for one of the biggest New Year’s Eve events.
