Wizkid ready to settle matters with B-Club amid rumors of a lawsuit

Wizkid is in Kenya…again.

The “Fever” crooner is in the +254 for the Katika Festival set to take place at the Afraha Stadium this Saturday (3.11.2018).

Speaking at a press briefing, Wizkid acknowledged that he never tires of coming to Kenya, being that it his 4th time in the East African country. He said, “I look to have a good time here.” The artist also addressed rumors that he and Katika Festival organizers are being sued by B-Club. He made it clear that the matter is under control and is being resolved saying, “we will handle that issue.” Acording to a local site, ” he was also supposed to make an appearance at Nairobi’s B-club before he went for the gig in Nakuru. B-Club paid a clean Kes 1.1 million to strike a deal with Katika Festival organisers and Wizkid’s management to have the singer show up at the B-Club.”

StarBoy also made it known that he is working on an album that is due for release in December 2018. The news comes after he received  mixed reactions from his recent release featuring Tiwa Savage as his main chick.

Addressing the direction he is taking with music, he commented on his recent collaborations stating “I am a lover of art, I’m just trying to entertain… what you see is what you get. ”

 

Katika  Festival will also feature various major Kenyan acts including Le Band, Fena Gitu, Khaligraph Jones, Viviane and a slew of djs.
