Aliens could be “angels” sent from God, a US politician has claimed.
Republican Congressman Eric Burlison has suggested that many sightings of extraterrestrials are consistent with the Bible.
Burlison – who recently attended a classified US government briefing on UFOs – said: “They may not fit exactly the Biblical narrative, but when I use the term angels, to me, it’s synonymous with an extra-dimensional being.
“I think it’s more likely that it would be something extra-dimensional than it would be within this dimension. And then, so what I’ll say is that when you start talking about things in that nature, that they’re extra-dimensional, well, in a lot of different scriptures, including the Bible, and others, that’s really the way that you describe messengers of God or, you know, angels.”
