A mother caused chaos during rush hour after leaving her baby on a train.
Travelers were informed that the woman had been separated from her child at Peckham Rye station in London on Wednesday (09.09.20) evening.
Station staff took the baby off the train at the following stop, with South Eastern Railways receiving frantic calls from the unnamed mother to alert them to the forgotten child.
Fortunately, the pair were reunited and are both said to be “safe and well”.
Commuters reacted with shock to the incident, with one posting on Twitter: “My friend’s train was delayed because someone forgot their baby in the pram. The mum had to get the next train to meet the baby. I mean how do you forget YOUR BABY… A WHOLE BABY.”
