An extreme eater died during a live stream after binging for hours.
Pan Xiaoting passed away on 14 July while taking part in an online challenge on Mukbang – where hosts consume vast amounts of food while interacting with their audience.
According to TimesNow, an autopsy found the former waitress’ stomach had been left “deformed” and full of “undigested food” as a result of her live streams, which reportedly lasted up to 10 hours and involved her eating around 10kg of food.
The 24-year-old was said to have been hospitalised in the past for gastrointestinal bleeding but continued her streams.
