Wasafi’s Diamond Platnumz teaches Didier Drogba to ‘Tetema’ at private bash

Platnumz and Didier know how to party.

Wasafi CEO Diamond Platnumz is living it up in Paris. The Bongo flava crooner is in the City of Love working on new music, and living his best life with some of Africa’s biggest stars. Taking to the Gram, Platnumz is seen letting loose with Ivorian football legend Didier Drogba in what seems to be a private bash. The duo dance to Rayvanny’s hit release ‘Tetema’ as other party goers cheer on the twosome. Though Chibu tried to teach the West African player a thing or two about the ‘Tetema’ dance, he was clearly focused on keeping it strictly West African busting out the ‘Shoki’ instead.

Didier quickly left thereafter to attend the Special Olympics World Summer Games in Abu Dhabi.

Now retired, 41-year-old Didier Drogba has committed his time to special projects and engagements one of them being a Global Ambassador for the Special Olympics. Speaking about the former Ivorian team captain, Special Olympics International CEO Mary Davis said: “Didier Drogba is a global icon in sports and especially in promoting peace and understanding.” According to a press release from the Special Olympics, Davis pointed out “Didier is a game-changer both on and off the field of play. He has always prioritized the development of youth to achieve their full potential. As a Global Ambassador for Special Olympics, there is so much we hope to achieve together. Our effort in creating inclusive communities will be accelerated through this relationship, and we are confident Didier will have a life-changing experience with Special Olympics athletes worldwide.”
