Victoria Kimani is set to return with another East meets West collaboration.

East African girl Kimani took to the Gram to tease an upcoming release. The “China Love” singer has already released two tracks in 2019, collaborating with the Tanzanian legend AY on the track ‘Loving You.’ The track that was released online via YouTube on January 28th, 2019, garnered over 126,000 views. That was not the first time the California-born songstress collaborated with a Tanzanian legend, releasing another track just days before dubbed ‘Woman’ on January 24th, 2019.
Now almost a month later, Kimani is set to drop her collab with “Pain Killer” crooner Sarkodie. Although the two have largely remained tight-lipped over the creative partnership, she revealed on her Instagram that the new release is dubbed ‘Wash It.’ According to behind the scenes footage shared on Sarkodie’s gram, the duo has worked on 2 tracks and ‘Wash It’ is set to be the first of two releases.

Sarkodie is a 2012 BET International Act Award winner and is known for his musical talent receiving high praise including being named in MTV’s Hottest African MC’s list in 2014. A pioneer in the Azonto genre of music coming from West Africa, Sarkodie’s sound has earned him quite the reputation. ‘Wash It’ will be the fourth time Sarkodie and Victoria Kimani work together, previously collaborating in 2016 for in Kimani’s track ‘Giving You’, in the 2017 Sakordie release ‘All Night’ as well as featuring in Khuli Chana’s track ‘One Source.’
