Celebrity Couple Vera Sidika and Brown Mauzo have welcomed their first born child, Asia Brown.
The couple welcomed the child October 20 through elective caesarean section, according to Sidika via her social media pages.
The first picture announcing Asia’s arrival is of her in a cot, flanked by her celebrated parents who are seen beaming in happiness.
Sidika who kept her promise of slaying all through, showed up in hospital in full glam, with her make up, hair and nails done to perfection.
She further revealed that she had chosen the birth date to coincide with the Mashujaa Day holiday so her daughter could be celebrated on the same day as the national holiday celebrations.
“Since elective CS allows you to select a date within a particular timeframe: I personally chose the date 20th October, so she can be celebrating her birthdays at from home with Family since it’s a public holiday Mashujaa Day,” she posted.
The socialite-turned-entrepreneur gave birth at Nairobi Hospital’s luxury wing that is estimated to go for a whopping Ksh 45,000 to Ksh 98,000 per room, depending on the room in question. This is in addition to the CS cost, Ksh 190,000.
“So happy coz hubby, mum and my two brothers were there with me for my delivery,” she revealed.
Asia already has an Instagram account and has garnered more than 30,000 followers in just 18 hours since the first picture was posted.
Divulging on her delivery encounter, Sidika says she felt no pain whatsoever. “Whoever said CS surgery was so bad and painful lied. It’s been 21 hours after surgery. Still no pain at all, & I can get up, walk around on my own. Saw, heard everything. Even told stories with my anaesthesian with some nice old school RNB music in the background,” she added.
The couple has been documenting their pregnancy journey since they first announced it, both showing grave anticipation for parenthood.
