Tanzanian singer Vanessa Mdee and her fiancé, American actor Rotimi have welcome their first child together.
The couple announced the birth of their son, Seven Adeoluwa Akinosho , Wednesday by posting a picture of two adult fingers holding a baby finger, simply captioned by the baby’s name.
The post was replicated on both their accounts.
The couple revealed they were expecting a few weeks ago in an interview with People Magazine before later posting pictures from their baby shower.
Mdee had confessed to having a non problematic pregnancy, saying it had been all smooth sailing. “He’s been so good to us. No real pain or symptoms. Some funny cravings and food aversions here and there. It’s been much harder in these final weeks because he’s preparing his arrival, but all in all we’ve been super blessed,” she revealed.
The couple met at Essence Festival after party in New Orleans in 2018 before getting engaged on December 20 last year in Atlanta, Georgia.
