Two Becomes One: P-Square Reunites, Ending Their Five-Year Beef

Popular singing duo, Peter and Paul Okoye of the now-defunct P-Square group have finally ended their five-year feud.

The Nigerian stars publicly reconciled after five years as a viral video of the duo surfaced on Wednesday (17.11.21) where they shared an embrace in the presence of family members and close associates much to the excitement of fans.

The twin brothers jointly celebrated their 40th birthday on Thursday (18.11.21), they took to their individual Instagram accounts to share birthday pictures they took together.


Peter, popularly known as Mr P, shared the picture with the caption, “It’s our Birthday!” while Paul, professionally known as Rudeboy, wrote, “Happy special birthday to us.”

Peter’s wife Lola Omotayo confirmed the reunion by posting on her Instagram page saying she was happy that the twins have come together and squashed their beef.

“To my favorite twins, today is such an emotional day for me. I am so happy that you have finally put your differences aside and allowed love guide you. Happy birthday Peter and Pau, you be ONE no be Two! More blessings, more love! Family for life. We bring it back again!!!!! Good health, long life and prosperity is your portion amen, posted Lola.”

Although the twins have been successful in their solo careers for the last couple of years, fans across the continent are elated at the prospect of the two getting back to their hit making days following the reunion.

There are speculations as to what led to the beef between the brothers but nothing has ever stuck. In a previous interview with The Sauce, Rudeboy said that fans should stop expecting a reunion or more music together and declined to talk more about their feud.

The former duo is known for hit songs like ‘Beautiful Onyinye’ ft Rick Ross, ‘Ifunanya’, ‘Game Over’, ‘Do Me’, ‘Personally’, ‘Chop My Money’ and ‘No One Like You’ just to mention afew.
