MACHAKOS, Kenya, Jan 15 – Nairobi City Stars moved back to second in the FKF Premier League standings with a 1-0 win over Posta Rangers, while Tusker loved to third with a well worked 3-1 win over Sofapaka in Machakos.
City Stars are now on 33 points, seven behind leaders GOR Mahia while Tusker are two points behind.
In Machakos, quick fire second half goals took Tusker to a good flight, before Keegan Ndemi halved the deficit.
However, David Odoyo scored the third for Tusker to cement their lead and go for the eighth match without defeat.
Levin Odhiambo put in a brilliant performance with two assists, his cross providing the opener for Fabian Odhiambo, before Eric Kapaito added the second.
