TikTok has announced new strategic partnerships in Kenya with Aleph Holdings and Wowzi, aiming to enhance local advertising support and empower the country’s creative community.
Through its collaboration with Aleph Holdings, TikTok’s sales and support operations will transition to Aleph’s Kenyan team, bringing localized expertise and streamlining advertising for businesses. Meanwhile, Wowzi will serve as TikTok’s official creator management partner, supporting and elevating Kenyan content creators.

By partnering with Aleph, businesses gain direct access to TikTok’s advertising solutions, benefiting from hands-on support and local insights. Simultaneously, Wowzi’s involvement will help creators build stronger brand connections and expand opportunities.
“We are incredibly proud of our growing community in Kenya,” said Carl Jordan, Head of Sales, Global Business Solutions, TikTok – Sub-Saharan Africa. “Our partnerships with Aleph and Wowzi strengthen the creative ecosystem and drive economic growth, providing advertisers with advanced digital formats and helping creators expand their presence.”
Stephen Newton, Regional Managing Director for Sub-Saharan Africa at Aleph Holdings, noted, “In Kenya, social media ad buying has been handled in-house. With Aleph now working directly with TikTok, businesses save costs and gain direct insights.”
TikTok’s commitment to Kenya’s creator economy has been evident since launching its #LevelUpAfrica Program in 2021. The initiative has helped Kenyan creators refine skills, build personal brands, and unlock new opportunities. With Wowzi leading creator management, TikTok is reinforcing its support for local talent.

“We’re honored to be TikTok’s official creator management partner in Kenya,” said Mike Otieno, Co-founder & President of Wowzi. “This partnership will unlock more opportunities and resources for creators to thrive.”
