There are a lot of new TV shows out this year, and while it may seem daunting trying to pick your next watch, we want to make it a little easier for you.
Here are some of our recommendations.
The Cleaning Lady
Thony De La Rosa (Elodie Yung), a smart Cambodian doctor comes to the U.S. for medical treatment to save her son, but when the system fails and pushes her into hiding, she uses her cunning and intelligence to fight back, breaking the law for all the right reasons. She becomes a cleaning lady for organized crime and resolves not to allow herself to be beaten down and marginalized.
Abbott Elementary
For those who miss shows like Parks and Recreation and The Office, Abbot Elementary is for you! Created by Quinta Brunson, the mockumentary-style show follows a group of teachers brought together in one of the worst public schools in the country, simply because they love teaching. Though these incredible public servants may be outnumbered and underfunded, they love what they do — even if they don’t love the school district’s less-than-stellar attitude toward educating children.
Good Sam
Good Sam follows Dr. Sam Griffith (Sophia Bush) in her new leadership role as chief of surgery after her boss falls into a coma. When her former boss wakes up months later demanding to resume his duties, Sam is tasked with supervising the egotistical surgeon who never acknowledged her stellar talent. Matters are complicated further by the fact that the arrogant Dr. Rob “Griff” Griffith also happens to be her father.
The Book of Boba Fett
A thrilling Star Wars adventure teased in a surprise end-credit sequence following the Season 2 finale of “The Mandalorian,” finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory that was once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.

4400
Pronounced “forty-four hundred”, the show follows 4400 overlooked, undervalued, or otherwise marginalized people who vanished without a trace over the last hundred years that are all returned in an instant, having not aged a day and with no memory of what happened to them.
Ozark (Season 4)
Marty Byrde wants freedom from the cartel and it’s seemingly within reach, but fraying familial bonds may prove to be the Byrdes’ ultimate undoing. Wendy Byrde becomes more aggressive and conniving in her dealings with the family and the cartel, while Charlotte and Jonah join the family laundering business and contribute in their own ways.
Euphoria (Season 2)
Euphoria season 2 has come in with a bang! We still follow Rue as she struggles with drug abuse and her relationship with Jules. We see the introduction of new characters who have their fair share of problems and the main cast goes through the typical “Euphoria-style” high school drama.
Some notable mentions include How I Met Your Father, Single Drunk Female, and The Servant.
