The Nivea Black and White affair, held at the Louis Leakey Auditorium on November 12, was one to remember.
The cocktail event was combined with Jazz from the maestro Aaron Rimbui and preceded the unveiling of the Nivea Black and White deodorant, a product of Biersdorf. The new deodorant’s formula seeks to make a difference by ensuring discoloration of clothes does not happen on sweat prone areas so that no white stains appear on black and no yellow stains on white.
As the name would suggest, the dress code for the invite-only affair was black and white and invited guests effortlessly kept the monochrome feel alive.
Performances were by Aaron and the band, on screen actor and performer Elsaphan Njorah and spoken word artiste Mugambi Nthiga, all of whom helped make the night more memorable.
