On her first attempt at blogging, Mercy Anyango got an opportunity most bloggers dream off. Her 500-word essay earned her a fully-paid expense trip to Washington, USA after she emerged the winner in the World Bank’s Blog 4 dev contest.
Mercy, a 3rd-year Financial Economics student, will attend the World Bank spring meetings where she will participate in development deliberations alongside finance ministers and WB officials.
Her essay was on the interaction between financial inclusion and businesses.
