Spotify Celebrates Fave’s Trailblazing Journey As Equal Africa Artist

Spotify has announced Nigerian music sensation Godsfavour Ugochinyere Chidozie, widely known as FAVE, as its EQUAL Africa Artist of the Month for November 2024.

Renowned for her soulful voice, evocative lyrics, and unique rhythmic flair, FAVE continues to be a formidable force in Nigeria’s music landscape and beyond.

FAVE first caught public attention in 2020 with her viral hit “N.B.U.” and has since dominated charts with multiple hit singles and widely acclaimed projects. Her debut EP, Riddim 5, showcased her artistry and versatility, and her upcoming release, Dutty Love, set to drop on November 7, is highly anticipated.

Collaborations with some of Nigeria’s biggest stars—Olamide, Simi, Phyno, and Davido—have further cemented her status. Notably, her feature on Davido’s “Kante” from the Timeless album ranked among Spotify’s Top 10 most-streamed songs in Nigeria for 2023.
