Spinhype Entertainment is an entertainment company based in Nairobi and are making waves on the scene.
Co-founded by William Odhiambo and Martin Mbugua in October 2021, it currently has almost 10 dedicated employees consisting of talented DJs and MCs and book keepers.
They currently play at The Loft Lounge ( Thika Road) on Wednesdays, SkyPark Lounge (Thika Road) on Sundays, Kikie’s Lounge (Kiambu Road) on Thursdays.
Prominent, influential and experienced industry professionals have seen the great potential in the company and are always willing to help them out on their endeavors. “One of our biggest goals is to create opportunity opportunities for everybody, ranging from bartenders, security personnel, cab drivers…the works!” They speak on their long-term goals in the entertainment scene.
They cite Wyre da Love Child and Gravity Band as some of their favorite local reggae acts. “We dream of playing at the best concerts in the country, especially to back our great local acts. Playing at a Sauti Sol concert would be a dream come true. Internationally, we would like to play major summer festivals like Summerfest and Tomorrowland.
