British star Debbie returns with her beautiful new single “Feeling of Love,” a heartfelt and defiant message about the emotions that follow finding true love. Debbie is joined by South Africa-based collective The Joy, who contribute their distinctive and euphoric vocals. Debbie shares that she wrote “Feeling of Love” spontaneously while singing in the shower. Speaking on the record, Debbie states that she “I’m forever singing but this one was a melody that stuck. Recording it felt so natural and I didn’t think twice about it. So having The Joy reach out and show their love for the song is mind blowing.
The feeling of love was a passing thought I had when writing it… explaining how I ‘miss the feeling of being in love’ But after singing it with The Joy, it means so much more. That ‘feeling’ you get when you meet someone is so special and precious.”
Originally inspired by a fleeting thought about missing the feeling of being in love, Debbie now sees the song as a celebration of the special and irreplaceable feeling you get when you meet someone new.
