Social Media personality Joe Muchiri has no love for Larry Madowo, calls him out for trying to get him fired

Former Capital FM producer Joe Muchiri has made it known that he is not a fan of popular journalist Larry Madowo.

In series of tweets recently, Muchiri lashed out at the media personality for trying to get him fired at Capital FM years ago.

This is after someone asked him why he never congratulated Madowo following the announcement of his new job as CNN’s Nairobi correspondent in May 2021.

“Someone asked me a few weeks ago why I haven’t said congratulations to larry madowo for getting a job at CNN & I was like (middle finger emojis) U guys know the “nice reporter” Joe knows the asshole that he is,” Joe Muchiri started his rant.

“Mans(Madowo) sent an email to my former employer asking them to fire me. Yaani a whole adult sent an email saying that a person like me should not be working at Capital FM, just because I made fun of him here…Luckily the manager was not these new managers who just fire people for no reason to look cool online.

“He asked me, “Joe now who is this larry person,?!” I told him it’s just some big mouth on Twitter ( literally) who just doesn’t like me. He then told me can U tell these people online to stop sending me nonsense coz apparently other people used to chomea me to him,” Muchiri narrated.

According to the social media influencer, Madowo caught feelings after he made fun of him on Twitter and decided to send an email to his then-boss at the radio station to have him fired. Luckily, wasn’t fired as his boss was an ‘old timer’ who was not swayed but Twitter beefs.
In the rant filled with expletives towards Madowo, the outspoken Kenyan music and football lover said he has no respect for anyone trying to take bread from someone for petty reasons.

Muchiri was later let go at Capital FM for his insensitive comments online about rape towards women.

As reported by The Sauce, celebrated Larry Madowo left his job as a correspondent in North America for BBC for a Nairobi based CNN correspondent job because he wanted to tell more African stories.
