Sauti Sol Announces Partnership With Wealth-Tech Startup, Ndovu

Grammy Award-winning Afro Pop band, Sauti Sol have landed a strategic partnership with fast-growing wealth-tech startup Ndovu.

The partnership combines Sauti Sol’s creative prowess with Ndovu’s vision to provide every African, regardless of income level or financial knowledge, with the right tools to grow their wealth.

Speaking at the partnership launch event, held at Park Inn‎ by Radisson in Westlands, Nairobi, on June 13th, 2022, Ndovu’s CEO and Co-founder, Radhika Bhachu, highlighted the importance of working with key industry influencers to enhance financial literacy and inclusion among the youth.

Vibe-Curator and renowned band member Savara had this to say about the partnership, “Our partnership is one which allows us as individuals and the business to invest globally from wherever we are in the world. It also allows us to easily track our investments, their growth and give us the chance to let our money work for us without having to stress about the terrible hustle of traditional stock investment. We want our peers and fans to know this is now possible, simple, safe, and secure. We want them to know they can be global investors, and it now possible through Ndovu.”

Ndovu is an online investment platform that provides easy access to local and global financial markets, allowing users to invest with as little as Ksh. 5,050. It was founded upon the realization that current investment options in Kenya lock out the vast majority due to complexities around market access, high investment amounts and high management fees.

“Educating the youth on money management is one of Ndovu’s key pillars. We believe it is crucial to help our brothers and sisters to achieve financial freedom. The medium via which today’s youth consume educational content has changed significantly. They are no longer inspired by traditional teaching styles but are instead inspired by digital influencers. Our partnership with Sauti Sol is deliberate as they have a mission like ours around inclusion, financial education, economic empowerment and ownership. They inspire their fans and the wider African continent to work towards improving themselves economic wise and knowledge-wise.” Radhika said.

During the press conference, Sauti Sol highlighted the need for Africans to work towards ownership, an opportunity that Ndovu provides. They lauded Ndovu for taking a different approach toward financial inclusion, allowing Africans to own companies that they consume daily regardless of their income levels.

Sauti Sol band is now officially an investor through the Ndovu platform and will continue to raise awareness on the need to address the elephant in the room, that is: financial literacy.

Ndovu is available on Google Play and the Apple Store.
