Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja has on Tuesday, December 6, unveiled more particulars about the upcoming maiden Nairobi Festival.
Adults will have to part with Ksh 100 to be allowed entry while kids will be charged Ksh 50 to enter the event slated to start on December 12 at the newly-renovated Uhuru Park.
The Governor also listed the various activities that will take place during the week-long event, that will also entail art shows and ICT exhibitions.
“We will also have culture, sports, food, film and our mathrees (PSVs). I invite you to celebrate and experience the core of who we truly are. A city of immense talent and creativity and where we are all about the hustle,” He stated.
Sakaja did not, however, reveal the names of the artistes that will perform at the event. The Nairobi Festival will grind to a halt on December 17.
