Veteran actress, stylist, dance guru and social media influencer, Ruth Maingi is set to host a virtual shopping experience of the biggest mall in the world.
The Instagram Live will feature retail expert Njeri Personal Shopper who will report live on location in Dubai Mall. Slotted for Saturday, March 11 at 3 PM EAT, the unique shopping experience is yet another bona fide example of the level Kenyan content creators are playing in.
According to her, the Instagram Live is just a taste of bigger things to come as she prepares for an upcoming trip to Dubai. Kenyan content creators such as Elsa Majimbo and the Metro Guy are taking over the world and Ruth Maingi has her eyes set to play on a global scale. A London Academy for Film andTelevision alumni, custom designer and award winning actress and stylist, Ruth has cut a niche for herself in the saturated influencer marketing space and has worked with big brands over the years.
“In just a few weeks I will be taking my fans to shop in Dubai so this is just a guide to help them find their way when we get there. I will be taking part in the up coming Dubai Vision board party that will be a five day work and play trip curated by Kenyan businesses trying to break into the UAE market,” She states.
The 5-day work and play trip scheduled for April 30 to May 5 is intended to help the business community in Kenya to get a foothold in the Dubai market. Cash rich and receptive of any and all cultures, Dubai has become a melting pot not just for the arts and culture but for businesses. Dubbed the Dubai Vision Board Party, the experience will take participants through a very unique tour experience that will transform them into world changers.
The eclectic team includes business trainers, showbiz gurus, performing artistes, filmmakers, actors, media personalities and entrepreneurs from a wide range of sectors.
