Roots Party Spokesperson Jaymo Ule Msee Says Wajackoyah Will Not Attend Presidential Debate

Roots Party presidential candidate Prof George Wajackoyah will not be attending the much-anticipated presidential debate slated for today, Tuesday 26th July 2022 at the Catholic University of Kenya.

This is according to a statement released by the Roots Party spokesperson and media personality Wilson Muirani alias Jaymo Ule Msee via various social media platforms.

According to the statement, Wajackoyah will not attend the debate as he doesn’t want to be subjected to the joke of an already predetermined debate.

“The media cannot decide the outcome of an election before the poll day. The notion that some candidates are trailing others or some leading others is baseless, the statement reads in part.

“We refuse to be counted as “others” in this democratic duty of seeking the presidency,” the statement added.

The presidential candidate is however willing to go head to head with the other four presidential candidates.

The statement comes days after Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga pulled out of the debate.
