Rihanna Bares Burgeoning Belly In Vogue US’ May Issue, Discusses Love, Life, And That New Album

Strap up, because Rihanna just completely owned the May cover of US Vogue!

The Bad Gal is the cover star of the May issue and true to her fashion forward ways, slays all of the looks in the  the spread. The front cover shows the singer draped in a semi-sheer red lace catsuit and brunette flowing hair.

The singer proudly showcases her burgeoning  pregnant belly in all the pictures in and discusses an array of topics, including revolutionizing pregnancy fashion and her hope to have broken the status quo of what has been stereotypically considered ‘decent’  for pregnant women.

Opening up on her relationship with A$ap Rocky and the subsequent pregnancy that she admits was neither planned nor unplanned, she says postpartum depression is one of her biggest fears after giving, adding that she has heard chilling stories from other women.

The Umbrella singer says she will not be planning a traditional baby shower, but instead wants a party where everyone will be ‘plastered and crawling out. ‘

“Don’t put me on no wicker chair somewhere with gifts at my feet where everyone is staring at me,” She quips.

She will not be hosting a gender reveal party either, and will wait till the couple are ready to reveal the sex of their little bundle. She admits that she would love to raise the child in her Barbados native but adds that would be unlikely. In the wide-ranging interview, the star also reveals that her mom was ‘charmed’ by Rocky, which says was not exactly the case with her exes.

Rihanna hints that she is looking at her next album ‘totally different’ and with less pressure from how she had initially planned it.
