Rico Gang’s “Bluetooth Device” among the top three hottest Kenyan tracks right now

Kenya’s music scene is blowing up, and if you haven’t caught up there is no time like the present.

Here are three of the top releases you should be jamming to:

1.Arrow Bwoy feat. Wyre – Pesa

Arrow Bwoy is currently on tour in the United States of America, but despite being far from home he has blessed fans with a series of releases. After recently releasing the ‘Hatua’ album, Arrow Bwoy has made good on his track record, dropping a banger with legend Wyre  Da Love Child. The track dubbed ‘Pesa’ is keen to prove money is a necessity that the modern man cannot live without. “No pesa, no sense.”

2. Masterpiece King – Cheki Juu

This track was released on September 20th, 2019. Since then, the track has garnered a disappointing 15K views on YouTube. The track proves Masterpiece’s talent, and definitely deserves more viewership. The gospel track written by Moji Short Baba is an easy listen with an uplifting message. Shot by Steve Mugo, the visuals are not out of the ordinary but well-executed, bringing the message full circle. Masterpiece King might still be a newbie in the industry but he is definitely one to watch.

3.Rico Gang – Bluetooth Device

Gengetone crew Rico Gang has strayed away from the ordinary and made something that is some sort of a throwback. The track ‘Bluetooth Device” is an ode to true genge during the times of Calif Records.  The track which dropped on the 26th of September 2019 has garnered nearly 30K views so far and is set to grow in popularity. Full of clever metaphors, the track is a mood for anyone is has a taste for music that is creative and funny. Harry Craze, Triand and GeeGee did a great job on this one.
