The Nairobi edition of Kenya’s premier annual beer festival, Tusker Oktobafest, went down last weekend completing a month-long festivity that saw the event tour different Kenyan towns.
The last weekend of the festival is typically the most raved about as it is usually the most attended and is held in Nairobi. Last weekend was no exception. The edition was a 3-day affair held at Ngong Racecourse and saw revelers show up in droves to partake in the fun.
Gaming centres, sports contests and different entertainment stages provided unique entertainment for attendees on Sunday night, as the festival ground to a halt.
The lineup entailed a host of the country’s top DJs as well as artistes. They included Joe Mfalme, Xclusive, Fena Gitu, Khaligraph Jones, Mejja, Phy, Nadia Mukami, Bensoul, Nyashinski among others entertaiment fans all night long, as the latter enjoyed beers from Kenya Breweries Limited’s portfolio while at it.
Besides from Racecourse, the 2022 edition also toured Eldoret and Mwea towns, with an overall of 100 acts entertaining fans throughout the month-long event.
20, 000 revelers in total attended the festival last weekend.
