Renowned non-governmental organization, Myles of Great Hopes in collaboration with Myles of Great Hopes Linda Tumaini, are set to pitch camp at University of Nairobi’s Manu Chandaria Auditorium for a benefit concert whose proceeds are aimed at perpetuating the organization’s work to help communities in need.
Rallying prospective attendees, the organization wrote on their website. “Your participation will enable us to raise funds in support of water, sanitation, health, and education projects aimed at improving the lives of communities in need. Join us to enjoy cultural music and dance, a fashion show and much more in celebration of our rich and diverse cultures!
The legendary Gahigo Dancers from Burundi and Huruma Theatre Dancers among others will give you a breathtaking performance. Help us to inspire hope, transform lives, and enhance unity in diversity!” They add.
Virtually everyone can be a part and parcel of this concert whose organizers plan on having it stream live on FaceBook. The ‘Proud of My Culture Concert’ is slated for August 10, with different sets of activities (an exhibition followed by the actual concert) scheduled to take place during a 9-hour timespan.

Myles of Great Hopes was founded in 2009 and officially launched in October at Cameron Village Library in Raleigh, North Carolina by Founder and President Isaac Kuria, a Raleigh resident and Kenyan native.
