NAIROBI, Kenya, Feb 5 – Kansai Plascon Kenya has increased instant cash rewards for painters to Sh300 under its 2026 Rangi Ya Chapaa promotion, up from Sh200 previously.
The promotion runs from January 1 to March 31, 2026, and targets painters, fundis and contractors nationwide, offering immediate mobile cash rewards through M-Pesa on selected paint products.
Each qualifying paint tin contains a scratch card that can be redeemed instantly for Sh300, allowing painters to receive cash at the point of purchase.
Kansai Plascon Kenya Managing Director Kota Enami said the higher reward is aimed at offering more direct value to painters.
“By increasing the instant reward to Sh300, we are providing greater value and recognising the role painters play in our business,” Enami said.
Marketing Manager Kunal Biswas said the promotion has been designed to remain simple and transparent for users.
“Painters buy a tin, scratch, and receive instant cash with no delays,” Biswas said.
The company said the promotion is part of its wider efforts to support painters through incentives and continued engagement with the trade.
