The American business mogul is said to be in the country to hold a series of public engagements with the main agenda being healthcare.
According to reports, Gates will tour Makueni County on Tuesday and is expected to meet Governor Mutula Kilonzo at his office.
He is set to visit the Makueni Mother and Child hospital and later visit Kathonzweni Health Centre where he is expected to meet health volunteers.
The founder of the Melinda and Gates Foundation, will later meet two farmers in Kathonzweni who are championing for Climate Change and are farming through irrigation.
On Thursday, November 17, Bill Gates is expected to give a talk on Innovating for Food Security and Climate Change in Africa. The event will be streamed live from the University of Nairobi.
The Melinda and Gates foundation focuses on improving people’s health and giving them the chance to lift themselves out of hunger and extreme poverty.
