Nyashinski, one of Kenya’s most versatile and celebrated music artists, has just unveiled his latest project, an EP titled ‘To Whom It May Concern’.
This six-track masterpiece follows his earlier release, ‘Prequel i’, and features a blend of hard-hitting rap and emotionally charged melodies that showcase his artistic range.
Among the tracks on the EP are 1 of 1, Bluff, Dopamine, Busy, and Silencer, with the latter being a remastered version of a previously released single. One of the most notable songs on the EP is Jitu, a powerful collaboration that brings together heavyweights Khaligraph Jones and Savara.
With production handled by acclaimed names like KDaGreat, Ogopa Deejays, BULLY, DTX, and TeflonZinfluence, the EP offers a mix of vibes. Tracks like Busy and 1 of 1 stand out as particularly radio-friendly, promising to be instant favourites among listeners.
Nyashinski’s journey in the music industry began over two decades ago when he was a member of the trailblazing group Kleptomaniax, which dominated the Kenyan music scene in the early 2000s with hits like Tuendelee and Haree. After the group disbanded, Nyashinski took a break from music, relocating to the U.S. for several years. His return to the Kenyan scene in 2016 with the hit single Now You Know marked a powerful comeback, proving that his lyrical ability and stage presence were as potent as ever.
