Celebrated Kenyan artist Nyashinski has today (13.12.19) released a new song dubbed ‘Lift Me Up’.
Produced by Cedo, the song revolves around the theme of love, and as the name suggests, Nyashinski asks his better half to always lift him up, when he is down.
Like all his other songs, ‘Lift Me Up’ is addictive, and will keep you rewinding every other time. The video has nice scenes, and communicates the language of love.
“Lift me up!… Every time you’re around me I feel love… Another one for my one and only, Lift me up!…. Can you guess what mood I’m in Need you like my oxygen, let’s go somewhere we can be, just you and me and some privacy yuh….. Lift me up anytime I’m down, every time you’re around me I feel love, baby I’m addicted to you,” the song’s lyrics read in part.
Hours after premiering, the song has already managed over 60,000 views on YouTube and is a top trending song on the platform.
The release of ‘Lift Me Up’ comes shortly after Nyashinski traditionally married his longtime lover.
The video was shot in South Africa and it has received praises from fans who called the visuals the ‘honeymoon’ video.
