Celebrated Kenyan rapper Nyashinski was recently unveiled as the Tecno Camon 20 series ambassador.
The ‘Marathon Runner’ spoke to The Sauce in a recent interview where he spoke about this new partnership with the smartphone company. According to Nyashinski, his business partner, Etude Africa, led by Joy Wachira, had been in conversations with Tecno for a long time. Surprisingly, they found themselves in London shooting the video promo, indicating that the partnership had progressed positively.
When asked about the significance of the partnership, the artist expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity it provided to engage with their audience beyond music. They appreciated the fact that their collaboration with Tecno extended to various aspects of their diverse interests and talents.
He opened up about his favorite features on the CAMON 20 series, saying that the camera was their absolute favorite feature. He praised the exceptional clarity of the images and videos captured by the device, expressing excitement about utilizing it to enhance their presence on social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.
Nyashinski also talked about phone feature he utilizes the most as an artist. The artist identified two essential features. Firstly, he emphasized the importance of stereo speakers as many of their fans listen to music on their phones. He frequently tests their music on the phone’s stereo speakers to ensure the best quality for their audience. Secondly, he highlighted the significance of the phone’s battery, specifically praising the 5000 mAh capacity. This reliable battery allowed them to spend extended periods in the studio and at shows without interruptions for charging.
Shifting the focus to the artist’s personal life, we inquired about how the father of two’s phone habits have changed since becoming a parent. The artist shared that around 80% of the photos in his phone gallery were now dedicated to their children or things related to them. He expressed a deep desire to create and record cherished memories for their kids, demonstrating a profound shift in priorities.
Lastly, the dreadlocked star highlighted three things that he would never do to his phone. He playfully mentioned that they would never leave their phone next to their children for more than ten minutes, fearing unintended calls and password changes. Additionally, they emphasized the importance of using genuine chargers and avoiding phone usage while driving, emphasizing responsible behavior with their device.
